Stand-alone Desks
Bibliothèque de Brossard – Georgette-Lepage Library
Our 202 Desk creates a friendly information point in the youth area of the Bibliothèque de Brossard – Georgette-Lepage Library. The curved desk-top is compact but provides ample room for layout and equipment, while the meeting oval makes an inviting space for staff and customer interactions. The Lollipop Sign Pole and bright green color scheme are eye-catching and add vibrancy to the space.
Bede Polding School
At Bede Polding School, our 204 Desk provides an effective student help point in the library. The medium-sized desk is ideal for use as an issues and help point in smaller libraries. It provides enough space for books and equipment but is still relatively compact. A curved meeting end invites easy interaction, while height adjustability enables staff to adapt the desk to suit children of different ages and heights.
Desks + Support Modules
Geisel Library, UC San Diego
Our 206 Desk and Stand-Alone Storage Module make the ideal pairing at UC San Diego’s Geisel Library. The 206 desk, with its bean-shaped work-top, welcomes visitors, while the four-drawer Stand-Alone Storage Module provides storage space and a place to display brochures and information. The Stand-Alone Storage Module’s wheeled design makes it easy to move when not in use.
The Public Library for Union County
At the Public Library for Union County in Pennsylvania, the Stand-Alone Storage Module, combined with our 202 Desk form a well-appointed tech help desk. At one end, the Support Module provides storage and a place for signage, while, on the opposite end, the desk’s curved meeting oval creates an open space to interact with customers.
Desk Groupings
The University of Auckland Student Centre
At the University of Auckland Student Services Centre, our 205 Island Desks are loosely grouped to create two customer service points. The island desk features two curved meeting ends, providing versatility in terms of desk setup. The design also creates a tidy aesthetic, making it the perfect choice when you plan to deploy the desk in an open space.
University of New Mexico
At the University of New Mexico, our 204 Desks, loosely grouped with handy Stand-Alone Storage Modules, provide an innovative alternative to traditional circulation desks. The grouping still delivers clearly defined staff areas, but with the added benefits of height adjustability to enhance staff and student well-being and a wheeled design to make the groupings easy to adapt as needs evolve.
Onehunga Public Library
At Onehunga Public Library, our 203 Desks combined with a Cash Module and Book Returns Module, create an attractive and functional non-traditional circulation desk that provides specific areas for issues and returns. Height adjustability enables staff to adapt the desk to suit the task at hand and the needs of individual customers. It encourages healthy work practices, which is especially important for circulation areas where rotating librarians will be using the desks and are often engaged in tasks that involve lifting and reaching for books.
Gore Public Library
Our 202 Desks combined with a Cash Module (in the centre) create a versatile front-of-house at Gore Public Library. Each desk can be adjusted individually, enabling staff to create two defined areas – one seated and one standing – to suit different types of interactions. The Cash Module provides a secure area for cash-handling as well as a lockable drawer and two shelves.
Georges River Council
Georges River Council have used the same configuration in their customer service area. However, to accommodate more visitors, they have two desk groupings, providing two defined zones to suit different types of interactions. One grouping is raised to a standing height for shorter exchanges, while the other is lowered to a seated height for longer exchanges. The 202 desk’s open form and height-adjustable, mobile design make them ideal for creating dynamic customer service areas that support staff, welcome customers and evolve with changing needs.
